Dr. Nader Alirezaloo — occupational therapist, neuroscientist, inventor. Five registered patents. Devices in over 100 rehabilitation centres across four countries. A career spent closing the gap between what a damaged nervous system intends, and what a child's body can actually do.
Most occupational therapists work with the tools they are given. For fifteen years, Dr. Nader Alirezaloo has worked with the tools he had to invent — because for children with cerebral palsy in Iran and the South Caucasus, the tools did not exist, or cost more than a family earns in a decade.
He began in the clinic: neurofeedback and QEEG in adolescents with ADHD, sensory integration in autism, motor planning in cerebral palsy. Along the way he noticed the thing that would define his career — the therapy was often sound, and the equipment was the bottleneck. A suspension system that let a child bear weight for the first time was manufactured in four countries on earth, and none of them were his.
So he built one. The Spider Cage and the Avizheh Space Suit, both patented in 2019, made Iran the fifth nation producing comprehensive suspension therapy systems. Then came the Reverse Walker, the Pro Dynamic Walker, and in 2025, ProWalk. Today the devices stand in more than a hundred centres from Tabriz to Baku to Baghdad to Muscat.
He holds a PhD in Cognitive Linguistics, an MBA in Health Management and an MSc in Occupational Therapy — a combination that reads oddly on paper and makes perfect sense in a workshop, where a device must be clinically defensible, commercially viable, and comprehensible to a parent in ten seconds.
He is founder and CEO of AVIZEKA LLC (Baku) and the Noandishan Avijeh-e Zehn Institute (Tehran), founder of a registered charity foundation, board member of Azerbaijan's first neuroscience laboratory, and regional representative of the Special Olympics. He is currently building toward AI-assisted neurorehabilitation.

Academic recognition
The 2016 QEEG-biofeedback study was cited in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy, acknowledging Dr. Alirezaloo's contribution to the evidence base for neurofeedback in attention-deficit and behavioural rehabilitation. He also serves as scientific committee member and paper reviewer for the 26th Iranian Congress of Occupational Therapy, and has been a jury member at three national rehabilitation-technology startup events.

The Iranian-made version corrected several scientific and technical flaws found in the imported products. Because the manufacturer is both an occupational therapist and a neuroscience researcher, the design was improved according to therapists’ practical experience.
